We fundamentally prefer not to engage with what we term 'USB DJs,' those who merely switch between songs from a pre-compiled playlist, offering little in the way of live improvisation or dynamic performance. Our preference lies firmly with more productive and engaging DJs who elevate the craft beyond simple playback. Many of the talented artists we collaborate with are not just skilled turntablists but accomplished musicians in their own right, seamlessly integrating live instrumentation into their sets; while expertly mastering the DJ console, they concurrently perform back-to-back with their chosen instruments, creating a truly unique and evolving soundscape that transcends traditional mixing. Furthermore, we proudly feature DJs whose performances are masterfully accompanied by another live musician, transforming a standard DJ set into a total music show—an immersive auditory and visual experience that captivates audiences and delivers a level of artistry far surpassing mere song selection, ensuring every event becomes a truly memorable spectacle.
AFROBESQUE:
AFROBESQUE is a dynamic duo, comprising a DJ Ece Izbudak and the Ney Flute Master Sinan Söyler (who was the founding partner of MESK EVENTS with the Ney Flute Master Yusuf Ilker Karaaslan), whose unique and immersive sound was initially nurtured under the roof of MESK EVENTS before expanding onto the international stage as an independent project. Their signature style artfully blends the ancient, soulful tones of the traditional ney flute with the energetic pulse of modern electronic music, forging a distinctive Afro-Ethnic House atmosphere that captivates audiences across diverse cultures. This magnetic live experience, characterized by the seamless harmony between organic melodies and electronic rhythms, has already reached major global destinations including Qatar, Dubai, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, TRNC, Germany, Austria, and Turkey, with an exciting expansion into new territories throughout Europe and Asia firmly on the horizon.
